METROPOLIS
Metropolis comes from the industrial years of the 1950’s where skyscrapers where born. Greatly inspired by the double line work of Twin by Mark El-Khatib, I used the double line method on HTF Champion Featherweight as a template to create a new typeface. The result is a bold, pompous typeface with a stolidly calm disposition.

Can’t wait for Spring?
Jitesh Patel was approached by Beetroot agency to create an illustration for Go Southern Railways magazine. The illustration was to a company an article entitled ‘Spring Break’ – which aims to inform readers of a range of places and events that will be ideal attractions to visit as the weather warms up.
The Illustration incorporates floral colourful illustration that suggests the blooming of nature in it’s fauna, and has icons and images of places and attractions referred in the article.
The Illustration and magazine are available at most railway stations this month.
